Will you be improving some of the basic input aspects of got-2? I would like to see auto cap of the first word when entering a new appointment.
Additionally, can you add the ability to set an end time? When I add a new agenda item, I have to open the calendar app to adjust the end time. It seems like extra work than can be avoided when entering the appointment the first time. And finally, is there a way to auto-refresh so changes take place immediately? It seems that if I change details or the time, the changes do not show on the home screen or week-screen until I exit and restart the app. I really like this app. It has a ton of potential. If we get more requests to auto-cap the first letter, we'll definitely consider making the change. In the meantime you'll have to use the shift key.
Regarding appointment inputs, we're considering this change but so far have tried to make the appointment/task input screens as simple as possible. If you look at the built-in task and appointment applications, you can see how complex these can become. Unfortunately, some of these design choices will not be a good fit for all users. With respect to refreshing changes, those should display instantaneously. I just confirmed this on two devices with got-2Pro (OS 4.7 and 4.2) so I cannot reproduce this in our for-sale/supported versions of the application. If you've purchased got-2Pro and have a specific agenda/task example I can use to reproduce the experience, let me know here or at info@gwhizmobile.com. Thanks! |

Yes, I am a licensed / owner of the app. Regarding the end time, I don't believe it is too complex to add that feature especially if you keep the 60 min default appt. To enter another application just to add an end time seems a lot more complex to me. So, unless this app is designed just to view my agenda, I think an end time is critical. Thanks. |

Just a quick note on the "auto cap". In any BlackBerry app, if you hold down the letter it will capitalize it.
On the end time - would allowing the user to set the number of minutes be a good enough compromise? So, in other words, setting the start time and then another menu item for "duration:" with options of 15 minutes 30 minutes 45 minutes 60 minutes (default) 90 minutes 120 minutes |

I totally support auto-capitalising the subtask titles. So far I have to use SHIFT and it irks me a bit.
For those who don't want auto caps, SHIFT could allow to start with a lowercase letter, + an Option could be there to [x] Auto Capitlalise titles. And entering custom number of minutes - would be a great thing. By default we would select from pre-defined list, but press a number and you get edit control. When I still was programming, they called it interface element the "Combo-box". |
